In 2010 Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research is celebrating its 50th anniversary.
In 1960, the Eastwood family in Middlesbrough lost their daughter, Susan aged 6, to leukaemia. They were determined that their tragedy would mean something positive for all of the other families facing their ordeal and they raised money to help doctors find a cure for what was then a little known cancer.
Since then, thanks to the continued support of thousands of families like them, we have raised over £300 million for research into leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.
As a result, today more and more people are surviving these blood cancers, and treatments are improving every year.
Kaizen have pledged a lifetime of support to Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research
In July 2007 4 year old Jack Burnett the Son of our Managing Director was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. Since that time Jack has endured treatment that has taken him to the edge of life and back again and yet through it all he has remained happy and positive and determined to help other sick children . Jack is now a prominent face of Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research and regularly attends fundraising events to raise awareness of Leukaemia.
Kaizen Group have pledged to support this cause until a cure is found for all children with blood cancers and will do so by pledging a percentage of profits, donating our time and sponsorship of other individuals and running charity events.
Just by employing Kaizen for your specialist cleaning you are making a direct contribution towards saving the lives of adults and children diagnosed with blood cancers.
We run annual charity auctions and always are looking for interesting items, particularly memorabilia, sports related or corporate days out.
Anything that may be surplus to your organisation such as computers, furniture we can turn into cash to help fund research.
Come along and join us at our annual charity ball along with live bands and special guests at the Sharnbrook Hotel on September 17th 2010
